The correct orientation of theprogrammed device in ZIF socket is shown on the picture nearZIF socket on the programmer's cover. It is necessary to insertthe device into the socket and to also close the socket. Makesure not to remove the device from the socket when the LEDBUSY is on.Warning: The Dataman-40Pro programmer doesn’t protectdevices against critical situations, for example power failuresand PC failure (interrupted cable...). Moreover, a device isusually destroyed in the programming mode due to forcedinterruption of the control program (Reset or switching thecomputer off) due to removing the connecting cable, orunplugging the programmed device from the ZIF socket.
