24PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDYThe coffee is not hot. The cups were not preheated. Warm the cups by rinsing them with hotwater (Please note: you can use the hot waterfunction).The infuser has cooled down because2/3 minutes have elapsed since the lastcoffee was made.Before making the coffee, heat the infuser byrinsing using the rinse function (see section"6.3 Rinse "").A low coffee temperature is set. Set a higher coffee temperature in the menu(section "6.9 Coffee temperature ").Please note: Varying the temperature hasmost effect for long beverages.The coffee is weak or not creamyenough.The coffee is ground too coarsely. Turn the grinding adjustment dial (A5) oneclick anticlockwise towards "1" while the cof-fee mill is in operation (fig. 13). Continue oneclick at a time until the coffee is made satisfac-torily. The effect is only visible after delivering2 coffees (see section "7.5 Adjusting the coffeemill").The coffee is unsuitable. Use coffee for espresso machines.The coffee is not fresh. The coffee pack has been opened for too longand has lost its taste.The coffee is delivered too slowly or adrop at a time.The coffee is ground too finely. Turn the grinding adjustment dial (A5) oneclick clockwise towards "7" while the coffeemill is in operation (fig. 13). Continue one clickat a time until the coffee is made satisfactori-ly. The effect is only visible after delivering 2coffees (see section "7.5 Adjusting the coffeemill").Coffee does not come out of one orboth of the spouts.The coffee spouts (A9) are blocked. Clean the spouts with a toothpick (fig. 25B).The appliance will not make coffee The appliance has detected impuritiesin its internal circuits. "Cleaning under-way" is displayed.Wait for the appliance to be ready again andreselect the required beverage. Contact Cus-tomer Services if the problem persists.The appliance does not come on The power cord connector (D7) is notinserted correctly.Insert the connector as far as it will go in thesocket at the back of the appliance (fig. 1).It is not plugged into the mains socket. Plug into the mains socket (fig. 1).The main switch (A22) is not turned on. Press the main switch (fig. 2).18.
