Do not touch surfaces that becomehot during and after operation anddescaling: telescopic hot waterspout and milk spout. Use handlesor knobs.2. Always attach plug to appliancefirst, then plug cord into wall. Todisconnect, turn any control to «off»,then remove plug from wall outlet.Do not unplug by pulling the cord.3. Do not let cord hang over edgeof table or counter, or touch hotsurfaces or sharp edges. Donot allow cord to dangle (risk ofaccident).4. Do not operate any appliance with adamaged cord, or plug in after theappliance malfunctions, or has beendamaged in any manner. Unplugcord immediately. Alwaysplace on a stable and even surface.The surface must be resistant toheat and fluids, like water, coffee,descaler, or similar.6. Do not use outdoors.7. Unplug from outlet when not in useand before cleaning. Allow to coolbefore adding or removing parts,and before cleaning the appliance.Do not use any strong cleaningagent or solvent cleaner. Use adamp cloth and mild cleaning agentto clean the surface of the machine.8. To protect against fire, electricshock and injury to persons, do notimmerse cord, plugs or appliancein water or other liquid. Never touchcord with wet hands. Do not overfillwater tank. Never put the applianceor part of it into dishwasher, exceptthe Rapid Cappuccino System(R.C.S.).9. WARNING: to reduce the risk of fireor electric shock, do not remove thecover. No user serviceable partsinside. Do not attempt to repair ormodify the machine, doing so willvoid the warranty. Readthe safety precautions on thedescaling package carefully. Thedescaling solution can be harmful.
