25 / 32 ENDryer / User Manual6 Maintenance and cleaningService life of product extends and frequentlyexperienced problems will be reduced if it is cleaned atregular intervals.6.1 Cleaning Lint Filter / Loading DoorInner SurfaceLint and fiber released from the laundry to the air duringthe drying cycle are collected in the Lint Filter.C Such fiber and lint are generally formedduring wearing and washing.A Always clean the lint filter and the innersurfaces of the loading door after eachdrying process.C You can clean the lint filter housing with avacuum cleaner.To clean the lint filter:• Open the loading door.• Remove the lint filter by pulling it up and open thelint filter.• Clean lint, fiber, and cotton raveling by hand or witha soft piece of cloth.• Close the lint filter and place it back into itshousing.• A layer can build up on the filter pores that cancause clogging of the filter after using the dryerfor a while. Wash the lint filter with warm waterto remove the layer that builds up on the lintfilter surface. Dry the lint filter completely beforereinstalling it.• Clean the entire inner surface of the loading doorand loading door gasket with a soft damp cloth.6.2 Cleaning the sensorThere are dampness sensors in the dryer that detectwhether the laundry is dry or not.To clean the sensors:• Open the loading doorof the dryer.• Allow the machine to cool down if it is still hot dueto the drying process.• Wipe the metal surfaces of the sensor with a softcloth, dampened with vinegar and dry them.C Clean metal surfaces of the sensors 4times a year.C Do not use metal tools when cleaningmetal surfaces of the sensors.
