Read and understand ALL the information inthe Operator’s Manual regarding proceduresand SAFETY when operating the PRO-TILL in thefield/yard or on the road.2. Check with local authorities regarding machinetransport on public roads. Obey all applicablelaws and regulations.3. Always travel at a safe speed. Use caution whenmaking corners or meeting traffic.4. Make sure the SMV (Slow Moving Vehicle) sign,and all the lights and reflectors that are requiredby the local highway and transport authoritiesare in place, are clean and can be seen clearlyby all overtaking and oncoming traffic. Besure to check with local highway authoritiesand comply with their lighting and transportrequirements.5. Keep to the right and yield the right-of-way toallow faster traffic to pass. Drive on the roadshoulder, if permitted by law.6. Always use hazard warning flashers on tractorwhen transporting unless prohibited by law.7. Always use a pin with provisions for amechanical retainer and a safety chain whenattaching to a tractor or towing vehicle.TRANSPORT SAFETYUse the following guidelines while transporting:1. Use a safety chain and a pin with provisions fora mechanical retainer.2. Ensure Pro-Till is in the full transport position withthe wing rollers secure and properly in place.3. Ensure debris that may fall or become dislodgedduring transport is removed.4. Be sure hazard lights are flashing and SMVdecal is visible.5. MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED TRANSPORTSPEED: MAX 40 km/h or 25 mph.(Road Conditions, Field speeds may be lower.)Due to weight of the machine and tire ratings,do not exceed the recommended maximumspeeds or severe tire damage / excessive wearmay occur.6.
