You can reconfigure the firewall by using the esxcli network firewallcommand to create a rule set that allows the IP address of a Dell Force10 switch topass the firewall. For detailed information, refer to How to Create Custom FirewallRules in ESXi 5.0.- When you establish a VSN session with a Citrix Xen hypervisor (accesscommand) that operates as a slave in a pool, the connection is established with themaster. Configuration and access information is retrieved from the entire pool. If theslave is removed from the pool and operates as a standalone hypervisor, the VSNsession is still active with the master. In this case, information is retrieved from thepool and not from the standalone hypervisor. To enable VSN on an interface and connect to hypervisors on network servers:Step Task Command Syntax Command Mode1 Enable VSN on an interface. vsn enableVSN is disabled by default on switchinterfaces.INTERFACE2 Specify the name of a hypervisorsession and enter hypervisorconfiguration mode.hypervisor nameEnter up to 40 characters to define thehypervisor session.CONFIGURATION3 Define the hypervisor type to whichyou want to connect.
