Exercise care when handling thehard drive.Procedure1 Remove the new hard drive from its packaging.Save the original packaging for storing or shipping the hard drive.2 Align the screw holes on the hard drive-bracket with the screw holes on thehard drive.3 Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.4 Connect the hard-drive cable connector to the hard-drive assembly.5 Align the screw holes on the hard-drive assembly with the screw holes on thecomputer base.6 Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.Postrequisites1 Replace the battery.
