Steps1. Align the screw hole on the power button with optional fingerprint reader with the screw hole on the palm-rest and keyboardassembly.2. Replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the power button with optional fingerprint reader to the palm-rest and keyboardassembly.3. Connect the fingerprint-reader cable to the I/O board and close the latch.4. Adhere the tape that secures the fingerprint-reader cable to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.5. Adhere the Mylar over the fingerprint-reader cable.Steps 3 to 5 are applicable to computers shipped with a fingerprint reader.Next steps1. Install the power-button board.2.
