Forprovisions of any service contract covering your system, refer to your invoiceor the separate service contract that you will receive.If Dell elects to exchange a system or component, the exchange will bemade in accordance with Dell’s Exchange Policy in effect on the date of theexchange. In any instance in which Dell issues a Return MaterialAuthorization Number, Dell must receive the product(s) for repair prior tothe expiration of the warranty period in order for the repair(s) to be coveredby the limited warranty.One-Year Limited Warranty (Canada Only)Dell Computer Corporation (“Dell”) manufactures its hardware productsfrom parts and components that are new or equivalent to new in accordancewith industry-standard practices. Dell warrants that the hardwareproducts it manufactures will be free from defects in materials andworkmanship. The limited warranty term is one year beginning on the dateof invoice, as further described in the following text.Damage due to shipping the products to you is covered under this limitedwarranty. Otherwise, this limited warranty does not cover damage due toexternal causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electricalpower, servicing not authorized by Dell, usage not in accordance withproduct instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance,and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Dell.
