A MAC-basedACL, IP-based ACL, and an IPv6-based ACL can be combined into a classmap. Class maps are configured to match packet criteria on a match-all ormatch-any basis. They are matched to packets on a first-fit basis, meaningthat the action associated with the first-matched class map is the actionperformed by the system. Packets that match the same class map belong tothe same flow.There are two possible types of matching:• match-all — Traffic matches class map if it matches IP/IPV6 and MACACLs• match-any — Traffic matches class map if it matches at least one of theACLsIf a more complex set of rules is needed, several class maps can be groupedinto a super-group called a policy (see "Defining Class Mapping Using CLICommands" on page 685).Table 22-12.
