Asupervisor password is used to access the System Setup program while a user pass-word is used to access the system, such as when logging in.Your Dell system is shipped to you without the supervisor password feature installed. If system security is a concern, you should operate your system only with supervisorpassword protection. You can assign a supervisor password whenever you use the System Setup program. After a supervisor password is assigned, only those who know the password have fulluse of the System Setup program.
