Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.3. Keep the #1 and #2 Phillips screwdrivers ready.4. Remove the following:a. hard drives/SSDsb. hard drive/SSD backplanec. hard drive/SSD cageSteps1. Loosen the retention screws on the expander-card cable connector that connects to the connectoron the system board (J_PERC) and lift the cable up.CAUTION: To prevent damage to an expander card, hold the card only by its edges.2. Remove the screw that secures the expander card to the chassis.3. Lift the card away from the system.104
