Applications 103• Use each time: After you select this option, the USB connectiondialog does not appear the next time you plug in the USB cable. Thedevice automatically performs the same action that you selected lasttime.• Always ask: Every time you plug in the cable, the USB connectiondialogue appears and asks you to select an action.NOTE: After you select Copy other files to/from your computer, open the MyComputer window on your computer to locate a removable drive which is themicroSD card installed in your device. Then copy desired files such as musicor pictures from another drive/folder to the removable drive, or vice versa.To turn off USB storageThe device will not recognize the microSD card when the card is being usedas a USB drive. You will not be able to use the device’s applications thatinvolve saving or retrieving files on the microSD card, such as camera ormusic playback. You need to turn off USB storage for the device to recognizethe microSD card when the device is connected to a computer.To turn off the USB storage function:1 Touch the notification area on the status bar to open the notificationmenu.2 Touch Turn off USB storage→ Turn Off.To remove the microSD card:1 Press and hold the Power button and then touch the Power offoption to turn the device off.2 Remove the back cover.3 Slide and lift the microSD card out of the slot on the device.
