Troubleshooting 127Shortened standby time The length of standby time isaffected by your serviceprovider’s systemconfiguration. The samedevice used with differentservice providers' systems doesnot have the same length ofstandby time.If you are located in an areawhere the network signal isweak, temporarily turn off yourdevice.The battery is depleted. Inhigh-temperatureenvironments, battery life willbe shortened.Use a new battery.If you are not able to connectto the network, the device willcontinue to send out signals asit attempts to locate a basestation.
