Itdisplays icons to indicate the notifications you havereceived, the phone’s status, and the current time.NotificationareaStatus areaNotification area – Displays icons for missed calls, newe-mail, messages, and so on.Status area – Displays icons for battery charge, chargingprogress, alarms set, network connections, and so on.To open the notifications panel that displays the phonestatus and list of notifications, touch the status bar anddrag it down to the bottom of the screen.Touch a notification in the list to open it in theappropriate application.To close the notification panel, touch the tab atthe bottom of the panel and drag it up to the top of thescreen.Dell StageYour phone has seven Home screens that you can customize. Close the back cover and charge the phone.Charge time:~2 hoursMaking callsYou can make a call by selecting a contact from thecontacts list, call log, favorites, or by using the onscreendialpad.Touch on the Homescreen to open the phoneapplication.Dial the number using theonscreen dialpad and touchto make the call.To switch to a recently usedapplication while you areon a call, touch and holdand then touch theapplication’s icon.If you open otherapplications during a calland want to return to thephone application, touchthe status bar and drag itdown to the bottom of thescreen, and then touchCurrent call.Answer or Reject CallsWhen you receive a call, the Incoming call screendisplays the caller ID. Touch togo to the Stage Home fromanywhere.To navigate across the Home screens, flick your finger to the right orleft on the screen.Center Home screenLock ScreenThe phone enters sleep mode automatically after a presetduration of inactivity. To wake up the phone from sleepmode, press the power/lock button.The lock screen appearswhen you wake up thephone from sleep mode.To unlock the screen, touchand drag to the right.You can set a screen lockto prevent unauthorizedaccess of your phone.To set a screen lock, touchon the Home screenand then touchSettings → Location& Security→ Set upscreen lock and follow theinstructions on the screen.
