If your TV and computerare properly connected but the TV screen remains dark, run the TV self-test by performing thefollowing steps:1 Turn off both your computer and the TV.2 Unplug the video cable from the back of the computer.3 Turn on the TV.If the TV cannot sense a video signal and is working correctly, the floating "Dell - Self-TestFeature Check" dialog box appears on the screen (against a black background).While in self-test mode, the power light remains green and the self-test pattern scrollsthrough the screen continually. This box also appears during normal system operation ifthe video cable becomes disconnected or damaged.4 Turn off your TV and reconnect the video cable; then turn on both your computer and theTV.
