Follow the instructions in 1 6 4 H Before You Begin.2. Remove the hinge cover (see 1 6 5 H Removing the Hinge Cover).3. Remove any installed media bay device (see 1 6 6 H XBay Devices).4. Remove the keyboard (see 1 6 7 H Keyboards).5. Remove the display assembly (see 1 6 8 H Removing the Display Assembly).6. Disconnect the coin-cell battery from the system board (see 1 6 9 H Coin-Cell Battery).NOTE: You can leave the coin-cell battery in place (on the palm rest) unless you areinstalling a replacement palm rest, in which case you need to remove the coin-cell batteryand place it in the replacement palm rest.7.
