You mustenter the Service Tag in the BIOS setup program after you replace thesystem board.NOTE: Replacing the system board removes any changes you have made tothe BIOS using the BIOS setup program. You must make the appropriatechanges again after you replace the system board.Procedure1 Using the alignment posts, place the system on the palm-rest assembly and alignthe screw holes on the system board with the screw holes on the palm-restassembly.2 Replace the 10 screws (M1.6x2.5) that secure the system board to the palm-restassembly.3 Slide the touchpad cable and the keyboard-controller board cable into thesystem board and close the connector latches to secure the cables.4 Connect the headset port cable, speaker cable, and display cable to the systemboard.5 Connect the antenna cables to the system board.The following table provides the antenna cable color schemes for the wirelesscard supported by your computer.Table 3.
