Dell is not responsible for any ofyour confidential, proprietary or personalinformation; lost or corrupted data; ordamaged or lost removable media thatmay be included with your return.1. Call Dell to obtain a Return MaterialAuthorization Number, and write it clearlyand prominently on the outside of the box.For the telephone number to call for yourregion, see “Contacting Dell” on page 91.2. Include a copy of the invoice and a letterdescribing the reason for the return.3. Include a copy of the Diagnostics Checklist(see “Diagnostic Checklist” on page 90),indicating the tests that you have run and anyerror messages reported by Dell Diagnostics(see “Dell Diagnostics” on page 72).4. Include any accessories that belong withthe item(s) being returned (AC adaptercable, software, guides, and so on) if thereturn is for credit.5. Pack the equipment to be returned in theoriginal (or equivalent) packing materials.NOTE: You are responsible for payingshipping expenses. You are alsoresponsible for insuring any productreturned, and you assume the risk ofloss during shipment to Dell.
