68[5] Checking the currently playing program source, etc.1 On screen display• Each time an operation is performed,a description of that operationappears on the display connected tothe unit’s VIDEO MONITOR OUTjack. Also, the unit’s operating statuscan be checked during playback bypressing the remote control unit’s ONSCREEN button.Such information as the position ofthe input selector and the surroundparameter settings is output insequence.Front panel display• Descriptions of the unit’s operationsare also displayed on the front paneldisplay. In addition, the display can beswitched to check the unit’soperating status while playing asource by pressing the STATUSbutton.
