29ENGLISHBasic Operation Basic OperationENGLISHAuto tuner presetsListening to the radioAuto preset memoryHold the PRESET • button and press the POWERswitch on the main unit.• The unit automatically begins searching for FM broadcaststations.When the first FM broadcast station is found, that station isstored in the preset memory at channel A1.Subsequent stations are automatically stored in order atpreset channels A1 to A8, B1 to B8, C1 to C8, D1 to D8, E1to E8, F1 to F8 and G1 to G8 for a maximum of 56 stations.Channel A1 is tuned in after the auto preset memoryoperation is completed.This unit is equipped with a function for automatically searchingfor FM broadcast stations and storing them in the presetmemory.• If an FM station cannot be preset automatically due to poorreception, use the “Manual tuning” operation to tune in thestation, then preset it using the manual “Preset memory”operation.• To interrupt this function, press the ON/STANDBY switch.2 DEFAULT SETTINGSA1 ~ A8 87.5 / 89.1 / 98.1 / 107.9 / 90.1 / 90.1 /90.1 / 90.1 MHzB1 ~ B8 520 / 600 / 1000 / 1400 / 1500 / 1710 kHz,90.1 / 90.1 MHzC1 ~ C8 90.1 MHzD1 ~ D8 90.1 MHzE1 ~ E8 90.1 MHzF1 ~ F8 90.1 MHzG1 ~ G8 90.1 MHz1 Set the input source to “TUNER”.(Main unit) (Remote control unit)2 Watching the display, press the BAND button toselect the desired band (AM or FM).Auto tuning• When in the auto tuning mode on the FM band, the “STEREO”indicator lights on the display when a stereo broadcast is tunedin.
