Dothis also once every 6 months when the batteries have not been used.When the batteries are going to be used again, first charge them forabout 30 minutes,e Do not disassemble the battery pack. if the electrolyte (which containssulfuric acid) should leak and get on your clothes or skin, either flush itwith large quantities of water or neutralize it with ammonia water orsodium bicarbonate (baking soda).Battery Pack Service Lifee Repeated charging and discharging shortens the operating time.Replace the battery pack if after charging it the operating time at normaltemperatures drops to one half the original time.e The SONY BP-2, BP-2EX battery packs can also be used,Using a Household Outlete Use the included AC power adaptor.Connections are the same as when charging.NOTE:Use a Denon-recommended AC power adaptor (AA-8) or the equivalent.Using in Carse Use a car adaptor (sold separately).NOTE:e Temperatures tend to be very high on the dashboard and inside closedcars.
