Alsoyou can play discs recorded with the NTSC system viaa PAL system TV set.¡ Some discs include region codes as shown below.¡ The number inside the symbol refers to a region ofthe world, and a disc encoded in a specific regionformat can only be played back on DVD players withthe same region code.¡ On the following discs, only the sound can beheard (picture cannot be viewed).CDVCD-G¡ NEVER play back the following discs.Otherwise, malfunction may result!DVD-AudioDVD-RAMCD-IPhoto CDDVD with region codes other than 2 or ALLDVD-ROM for personal computersCD-ROM for personal computers[DVD-Video]Data on a DVD is divided into sections called “titles”, andthen into subsections called “chapters”, each of which isgiven a title or chapter number.
