Press again to set thepower to standby.• Power indicatorNormal standby .......................OffPower on.................................GreenAlarm standby .........................OrangeiPod charge standby................RedWhen the power is in the standby mode, pressing one of the followingbuttons also turns this unit on.• X, 5 or 1/3z on the main unit• CD, TUNER, iPod/USB, DIGITAL IN, ANALOG IN or 1/3z on theremote control unitz If a disc has already been inserted, playback starts.NOTE• Power continues to be supplied to some of the circuitry even whenthe power is in the standby mode. When leaving home for longperiods of time, unplug the power cord from the power outlet.• Be sure to stop playback before turning the power off.n Completely turning off the powerUnplug the power cord from the wall outlet.• Note that the time setting is cleared when the power cord isunplugged from the outlet.• The settings made for the various functions may be cleared if thepower cord is left unplugged from a power outlet for an extendedperiod of time.Before playing a disc1 Press POWER X.2 Press CD to set the input sourceto “DISC”.If no disc is loaded “NO DISC” isdisplayed.3 Insert a disc (vpage 30).• Press 5 on the main unit to open/close thedisc tray.• The disc tray also closes when 1/3 ispressed.NOTEDo not place any foreign objects in the disc tray.
