WARRANTY AND REPAIR SERVICEWARRANTY SERVICEShould your heater require service, return it to yournearest authorized service center. Proof of purchase mustbe presented with the heater. The heater will be inspected.A defect may be caused by faulty materials or workman-ship. If so, DESA International will repair or replace theheater without charge.REPAIR SERVICEReturn the heater to your nearest authorized servicecenter. Repairs not covered by the warranty will be billedat standard prices.A service manual may be purchased from the addresslisted below. Send a check for $5.00 payable to DESAInternational.When writing for information regarding your heater, be sureto include the model number and serial number as shown onthe model plate.Each Service Center is independently owned and operated.We reserve the right to amend these specifications at anytime without notice.INTERNATIONALLIMITED WARRANTYDESA International warrants this product and anyparts thereof, to be free from defects in materials andworkmanship for six (6) months from the date of firstpurchase when operated and maintained in accordancewith instructions. This warranty is extended only to theoriginal retail purchaser, when proof of purchase isprovided.This warranty covers only the cost of parts and laborrequired to restore the product to proper operatingcondition. Transportation and incidental costs associ-ated with warranty repairs are not reimbursable underthis warranty.Warranty service is available only through authorizeddealers and service centers.This warranty does not cover defects resulting frommisuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, lack of propermaintenance, normal wear, alteration, modification,tampering, contaminated fuels, repair using improperparts, or repair by anyone other than an authorizeddealer or service center. Routine maintenance is theresponsibility of the owner.THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEUOF ANY OTHER WARRANTY EITHER EX-PRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRAN-TIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESSFOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.DESA International assumes no responsibility for in-direct, incidental or consequential damages.
