Body temperature will affect itsoperation in the AUTO mode.Check pilot flame pattern and burner flamepatterns often.PILOT FLAME PATTERNFigure 35 shows a correct pilot flame pattern.Figure 36, shows an incorrect pilot flame pat-tern. The incorrect pilot flame is not properlyheating the thermocouple. If the average room temperature reachesa range of 82° F (28° C) to 92° F (33° C),the hand-held remote control will perform asafety override and shut the fireplace off. Thisfeature is not available in the MANU mode.2. The receiver continuously receives sig-nals from the hand-held remote to controlthe room temperature. If the hand-heldremote is misplaced, obstructed or for anyreason cannot transmit to the receiver, thereceiver will shut off the fireplace. This willoccur in 8 or more minutes dependingupon location of remote transmitter andstrength of batteries.Key Pad Lock FeatureThis feature allows the user to lock/unlock thekeypad on the hand-held remote in the MANUor AUTO mode to prevent inadvertent op-eration (i.e. children operating the hand-heldremote control, etc.). The keypad is locked ineither on or off. Press the POWER and LOCKbuttons together to turn the unit on or off.INSPECTING bURNERS
