This can damage ODS/pilot unit.Note: All troubleshooting items are listed in order of operation.POSSIBLE CAUSE1. Ignitor electrode positionedwrong2. Ignitor electrode broken3. Ignitor electrode not connectedto ignitor cable4. Ignitor cable pinched or wet5. Broken ignitor cable6. Bad piezo ignitor7. Piezo ignitor nut is loose1. Gas supply turned off or equip-ment shutoff valve closed2. Control knob not in PILOTposition3. Control knob not pressed inwhile in PILOT position4. Air in gas lines when in-stalled5. Depleted gas supply (propane/LP only)6. ODS/pilot is clogged7. Gas regulator setting is notcorrectREMEDY1. Replace pilot assembly2. Replace pilot assembly3. Reconnect ignitor cable4. Free ignitor cable if pinchedby any metal or tubing. Keepignitor cable dry5. Replace ignitor cable6. Replace piezo7. Tighten nut holding piezoignitor. Nut is located insideheater cabinet at top1. Turn on gas supply or openequipment shutoff valve2. Turn control knob to PILOTposition3. Press in control knob while inPILOT position4. Continue holding down con-trol knob. Repeat ignitingoperation until air is removed5. Contact local propane/LP gascompany6. Clean ODS/pilot (see Cleaningand Maintenance, page 15) orreplace ODS/pilot assembly7. Replace gas regulatorOBSERVED PROBLEMWhen ignitor button is pressedin, there is no spark at ODS/pilotWhen ignitor button is pressedin, there is a spark at ODS/Pilotbut no ignition
