Withother hand, insert mounting screw throughbottom mounting hole and spacer. Placetip of screw in opening of wall anchor ordrilled hole.8. Tighten both screws until heater is firmlysecured to wall. Do not over tighten.Note: Do not replace front panel at thistime. Lay heater cabinet on its back on a tablewith the heater bottom overhanging tableedge.2. Apply pipe joint sealant lightly to male NPTthreads of elbow. Hold pressure regulatorwith a wrench when connecting elbow.Do not overtighten elbow to regulator.Regulator body could be damaged.3. Align holes in base foot with mounting holeson bottom of cabinet (see Figure 12).4. Secure base foot to heater using sheetmetal screws.5. For carpeted floors, make a small cut witha sharp knife at marked locations prior todrilling. If mounting base to a wood floor,drill 1/8" diameter hole, 3/4" deep. (Do notuse anchors in wood floors).If mounting base to a concrete floor, drillwith 1/4" diameter concrete drill bit, 13/8" intofloor. Insert anchors completely into holes.4. Reposition heater with base feet overholes. Secure base to floor with woodscrews. See Figure 12.INSTALLING REMOTE CONTROLRECEIvERRemote control receiver must be installed tooperate the remote control.Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mixalkaline, standard (carbon - zinc) or recharge-able (nickel - cadmium) batteries.1. Locate two packages of AA batteries,remote receiver and hook and loop strip inhardware bag included with your heater.2. Remove battery cover on receiver andinstall batteries as shown in Figure 13.Replace battery cover.3. Remove adhesive backing on hook andloop strip and attach to receiver in locationshown in Figure 14, page 12.4. Place receiver with hook and loop strip’ssticky side down in approximate locationon inside of heater shown in Figure 14,page 12.5.
