Severe burns andelectrical shock can occur.IGNITOR1. Make sure gap between ignitor electrodeand burner nozzle is 3.3/3.8 mm (.13/.15 in). Access ignitor electrode from in-side combustion chamber. No othermaintenance is needed for ignitor.FANIMPORTANT: Remove fan from motorshaft before removing motor from heater.The weight of the motor resting on the fancould damage the fan pitch.1. Remove upper shell (see above).2. Use 1/8" hex wrench to loosen setscrewwhich holds fan to motor shaft.3. Slip fan off motor shaft.4. Clean fan using soft cloth moistenedwith kerosene or solvent.5. Dry fan thoroughly.6. Replace fan on motor shaft. Make suresetscrew is touching back of flat sur-face on motor shaft (see Figure 8).7. Place setscrew on flat of shaft. Tightensetscrew firmly 4.5 to 5.6 N-lb (40-50in-lb).8. Replace fan guard andupper shell.
