Control valve damagedREMEDY1. Reconnect ignitor cable2. Free ignitor cable if pinchedby any metal or tubing. Keepignitor cable dry3. Replace ignitor cable4. Replace piezo ignitor5. Replace pilot assembly6. Replace pilot assembly1. Turn on gas supply or openequipment shutoff valve2. Turn control knob to PILOTposition3. Press in control knob while inPILOT position4. Continue holding down con-trol knob. Repeat igniting op-eration until air is removed5. Clean ODS/pilot (see Cleaningand Maintenance, page 18) orreplace ODS/pilot assembly6. Replace gas control7. Contact local propane/LP gascompany1. Press in control knob fully2. After ODS/pilot lights, keep con-trol knob pressed in 30 seconds3. Fully open equipment shutoffvalve4. A) Contact local propane/LPor natural gas companyB) Clean ODS/pilot (seeCleaning and Maintenance,page 18) or replace ODS/pi-lot assembly5. Hand tighten until snug, thentighten 1/4 turn more6. Replace pilot assembly7.
