To selectFahrenheit/Centigrade mode display, carefullypress the ˚C/˚F mode button with the end of apaper clip or similar blunt object.Manual Mode1. Press the POWER and LOCK buttonstogether to turn on the hand-held remotecontrol.2. Press the MANU button to turn on thefireplace.3. If the average room temperature exceeds82 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Centi-grade), the hand-held remote control willperform a safety override and shut thefireplace off. This feature is not availablein the MANU mode.2. The receiver continuously receives signalsfrom the hand-held remote to control theroom temperature. If the hand-held remoteis misplaced, obstructed or for any reasoncannot transmit to the receiver, the receiverwill shut off the fireplace after 8 minutes.
