Press in control knobfor five (5) seconds (see Figure 34, page 22).WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS• Do not try to light any appliance.• Do not touch any electric switch; do notuse any phone in your building.• Immediately call your gas supplier froma neighborʼs phone. Follow the gassupplierʼs instructions.• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, callthe fire department.C. Use only your hand to push in or turn thegas control knob. Never use tools. If theknob will not push in or turn by hand, donʼttry to repair it, call a qualified service tech-nician or gas supplier. Force or attemptedrepair may result in a fire or explosion.D. Do not use this appliance if any part has beenunder water. Immediately call a qualifiedservice technician to inspect the appliance andto replace any part of the control system andany gas control which has been under water.
