Install the right brick panel using the samemethod described in step 6 for left brickpanel.11. Replace deflector shield using screws removedin step 7.12. Using screws removed in step 6, replaceplenum and attach to burner.13. Carefully replace the ember pod and log set.14. Use screws removed in step 4 to replaceandiron assembly.15. The wall switch is to be connected tothe incoming 120 volt regular household wiringthat supplies the electricity to the fireplace.OpTIONAL REMOTE CONTROLINSTALLATION (MODEL WRC)Note: If using optional wireless hand-held remotecontrol, the wall switch must be in the ON positionto be operational. The remote control then becomesthe switching mechanism for fireplace operation.1. Open lower louver panel.2. The WRC model receiver does not require abattery. The receiver can be installed by firstplugging the short extension cord into thefireplace receptacle. Then plug the receiverunit into the extension cord. Finally plug theignition module plug into the receiver unit (seeFigure 40).3. Activate the remote handset battery byremoving the insulating tab on the back ofthe handset (see Figure 41). The battery isincluded pre-installed.4. Once the battery is activated the unit is readyto use.5.
