If the average room temperature exceeds 82degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Centigrade),the hand-held remote control will perform asafety override and shut the fireplace off. Thisfeature is not available in the MANU mode.2. The receiver continuously receives signalsfrom the hand-held remote to control theroom temperature. If the hand-held remoteis misplaced, obstructed or for any reasoncannot transmit to the receiver, the receiverwill shut off the fireplace after 8 minutes.Key Pad Lock FeatureThis feature allows the user to lock/unlockthe keypad on the hand-held remote in theMANU or AUTO mode to prevent inadvertentoperation (i.e. children operating the hand-heldremote control, etc.). The keypad is locked ineither on or off. Press the POWER and LOCKbuttons together to turn the unit on or off.INSPECTING BURNERSCheck pilot flame pattern and burner flame pat-terns often.PILOT FLAME PATTERNFigure 36 shows a correct pilot flame pattern.Figure 37 shows an incorrect pilot flame pat-tern. The incorrect pilot flame is not touching thethermocouple. This will cause the thermocouple tocool.
