Only aqualified service person should service and repair heater.CAUTION: Never use a wire, needle or similar object to cleanODS/pilot. This can damage ODS/pilot unit.Note: All troubleshooting items are listed in order of operation.POSSIBLE CAUSE1. Switch in OFF position(module gives long steadybeep)2. Weak batteries3. Ignitor electrode not con-nected to ignitor cable4. Ignitor cable pinched orwet5. Broken ignitor cable6. Bad piezo ignitor7. Ignitor electrode positionedwrong or broken8. Bad module1. Gas supply turned off orequipment shutoff valveclosed2. Control knob not in ONposition3. Air in gas lines when in-stalled4. Weak batteries5. Depleted gas supply (pro-pane/LP only)6. ODS/pilot is clogged7. Gas regulator setting is notcorrect8. Bad module1. Inlet gas pressure is toolow2. Wire disconnected fromgas control3. Bad module4. Burner orifice(s) cloggedOBSERVED PROBLEMWhen and are pressedat the same time, there is nospark at ODS/pilotWhen and are pressed,there is spark at ODS/pilot butno ignitionBurner does not light afterpilot is litREMEDY1. Push switch on valve to "–"position2. Replace batteries3. Reconnect ignitor cable4. Free ignitor cable if pinchedby any metal or tubing.Keep ignitor cable dry5. Replace ignitor cable6. Replace piezo ignitor7. Replace pilot assembly8. Replace module1. Turn on gas supply or openequipment shutoff valve2. Turn control knob to ONposition3. Continue holding down con-trol knob. Repeat igniting op-eration until air is removed4. Replace batteries5. Contact local propane/LPgas company6.
