Owner’s Manual – Prodigy 52H31093109Rev.EInstallation DetailsOutdoor Tank InstallationThe water heater must be installedoutdoors, with the minimum clearancesas shown in the figure below.We recommend a plinth be installedunder the water heater where thewater heater is subjected to wetconditions.Minimum clearance around the windowsand doors must be maintained – refer toAS 5601.LocationThe water heater should be located asclose as possible to the most frequentlyused hot water outlet. Ensure that thedata label is clearly visible and that thereis adequate access for servicing the unit.Note: All models are equipped with asacrificial anode, accessible through thetop cover. Allow 50% of the height ofthe water heater for clearance above toreplace the anode.A properly drained overflow tray mustbe used where property damage couldoccur from water spillage.
