Using closed captioning 23DX-24E150A116 Press or to select a closed captioning mode. You can select:• CC1 through CC4—Closed captioning appears in a smallbanner across the bottom of the screen. CC1 is usually the“printed” version of the audio. CC2 through CC4 displaycontent provided by the broadcaster.• Text1 through Text4—Closed captioning that covers halfor all of the screen. Text1 through Text4 display contentprovided by the broadcaster.7 Press EXIT to close the menu.Customizing digital TV closed captioningstylesTo customize DTV closed captioning:1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.2 Press or to highlight SETTINGS, then press . TheSETTINGS menu opens.3 Press to highlight Closed Caption, then press ENTER. TheClosed Caption Setup screen opens.4 Press to highlight Caption Control, press or to set theCC mode to On.5 Press or to highlight Digital Caption (only available fordigital stations), then press or to select an advanced closedcaptioning option. You can select CS1-CS6 (displays contentprovided by broadcaster).6 Press or to highlight Digital CC Settings, then pressENTER.
