Making connections 7DX-55L150A11Aiming the remote controlTo aim the remote control:• Point the remote control towards the remote sensor on the frontof your TV.Notes:• Do not expose the remote control to shock or liquids.• Do not use the remote control in an area with high humidity.• Do not place the remote control in direct sunlight.• Do not place objects, such as furniture, between the remote controland the remote sensor.• The remote control may not work if direct sunlight or bright lightshines on the remote sensor. Either move your TV or change the angleat which you use the remote control.Programming a universal remote controlto work with your TVYou can operate your TV with a new or existing universal remotecontrol.To program your existing universal remote control:1 Find the code for your universal remote control by identifyingyour TV and universal remote control models on the chart below.Codes for other remote controls are available online at:http://www.dynexproducts.com/support.htmlTips:• The brand name is often visible on the front of the universal remotecontrol, and the model number is often visible on the back.• If your universal remote control isn’t listed on the chart, refer to youruniversal remote control’s instructions and try codes for the brandsOrion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania, or Zenith. You may needto try several codes before finding a match.2 Follow your universal remote control’s instructions to enter thecode for your TV.Tips:• If your universal remote control has a code search feature, run a codesearch to identify a code that matches your TV.
