Usethe attached power cord only.Turning your player on and offTo turn your player on and off:1 Plug the power cord into an AC power outlet.2 Press the STANDBY/ button to turn on your player.3 Press the STANDBY/ button again to turn off your player.Playing a discTo play a disc:1 Turn on your player and your TV.2 Press OPEN/CLOSE ( ) to open the disc tray.3 Load the disc into the tray, with the label side up.4 Press OPEN/CLOSE ( ) to close the tray. Playback starts automatically. If playbackdoes not start, press (play/pause) on the remote control or the player to start theplayback.• To stop the playback, press (stop) . The player notes the stopped point,depending on the disc.• Press (play/pause) to resume playback (from the stopped point). To startplayback from the beginning of the disc, press (stop) again, then press(play/pause) . Your player starts playback at the beginning of the disc.• During playback, press (fast forward) to fast forward through the disc. Eachtime the (fast forward) button is pressed, the fast forward motion speedchanges. Press (play/pause) to resume normal playback.
