Explosive gas mixture may becreated if the hydrogen concentration exceeds 4 % by volume in air. Necessary air flow rate forventilation of UPS location must be ensured.As an example, for 93PM 30-50 kW UPS, a minimum air flow is 5 m³/ hour for the room whereone 93PM UPS with internal VRLA batteries is placed. If more than one UPS with internalVRLA batteries are located in the same room, ventilation air flow must be dimensionedaccordingly. If external flooded cell batteries are used in same location, ventilation air flowmust be recalculated and dimensioned accordingly.1.5 Symbols on the UPS and accessoriesThe following are examples of symbols used on the UPS or accessories to alert you to importantinformation:DANGERRISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK - Indicates that arisk of electric shock is present and the associat-ed warning should be observed.CAUTIONCAUTION: REFER TO OPERATOR’S MANUAL- Refer to your operator’s manual for addition-al information, such as important operating andmaintenance instructions.Figure 1-1: Recycling batteries symbolThis symbol indicates that you should not dis-card the UPS or the UPS batteries in the trash.This product involves sealed, lead-acid batteriesand must be disposed of properly.
