Page 204.4 Trouble shootingPROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTIONTHE DISPLAY DOESNOT LIGHT UPINPUT SWITCH OPEN Close the input switch located on the back of theUPS.MAIN CONNECTION CABLEMISSING Check that the power cable is connected correctly.NO MAINS VOLTAGE(BLACKOUT) Check that the power reaches the UPSUPSTREAM THERMALPROTECTION TRIPReset the thermal protection.CAUTION: Check that there is no output overload tothe UPS.THE DISPLAY IS ON BUTTHE LOAD IS NOTPOWEREDTHE UPS IS IN Standby mode Press the “ON” button on the front panel to power theloads.THE UPS IS OPERATINGFROM THE BATTERYDESPITE THEPRESENCE OF MAINSVOLTAGETHE INPUT VOLTAGE ISOUTSIDE THE PERMITTEDTOLERANCE RANGE FORMAINS OPERATIONProblem with the mains. Wait until the input mainsvoltage returns within the tolerance range. The UPSwill automatically return to mains operation.THE BUZZER SOUNDSCONTINUOUSLY ANDTHE DISPLAY SHOWSONE OF THEFOLLOWING CODES:A80E, A810, F808THE LOAD APPLIED TO THEUPS IS TOO HIGHReduce the load to within the threshold of 100% (oruser threshold in the case of code A80E).If the display shows an Fault:remove the load and switch the UPS off and back onagain.THE DISPLAY SHOWSTHE FOLLOW CODE:A60DBATTERIES MISSING ORBATTERY BOX MISSING ORNOT CONNECTEDCheck that the Battery Box is inserted and connectedto the UPS correctly.THE BUZZER SOUNDSCONTINUOUSLY ANDTHE DISPLAY SHOWSONE OF THEFOLLOWING CODES:A004 F004THE TEMPERATURE INSIDETHE UPS IS TOO HIGHCheck that the temperature of the environment inwhich the UPS is located does not exceed 40°C.THE BUZZER SOUNDSCONTINUOUSLY ANDTHE DISPLAY SHOWSONE OF THEFOLLOWING CODES:F805THERE IS A FAULT ON ONEOR MORE OF THE LOADSPOWERED BY THE UPSDisconnect all the utilities, switch the UPS off andback on again, reconnect the utilities one at a time toidentify which one is faulty.THE BUZZER SOUNDSCONTINUOUSLY ANDTHE DISPLAY SHOWSONE OF THEFOLLOWING CODES:F704, F70D,F70C,F302,F303,F305,F300,F301,F304, F002THE UPS IS MALFUNCTIONINGIf possible, disconnect the power to the load, switchthe UPS off and back on again; if the problem occursagain, call the support centre.THE DISPLAY SHOWSTHE CODE: A900 THE MAINTENANCE BYPASSFUNCTION IS ACTIVETo take the UPS out of the maintenance bypassfunction, open the manual bypass switch on the backof the UPS.
