Failure to followthis transfer sequence may cause loss of loss of power to loads or overload protection devices to activate.C A U T I O NIn Bypass mode, the critical load is not protected from commercial power interruptions and abnormalities.1. Remove the MBM top and bottom front covers:Grasp the sides of each cover and pull forward. See Figure 23 on page 39.2. Close the UPS Input breaker (see Figure 20 on page 36).3. Verify the UPS Input indicator is illuminated.4. Verify the UPS is operating and is in Bypass mode. Refer to the instructions inthe operation chapter of the BladeUPS user's guide.5. Verify the UPS Output indicator is illuminated.6. Close the UPS Output breaker (see Figure 20 on page 36).7. Slide the interlock bar to the left (see Figure 25).8. Open the Bypass breaker (see Figure 20 on page 36 and Figure 25).9. Transfer the UPS to Normal mode. Refer to the instructions in the operationchapter of the BladeUPS user's guide.10. Verify the Critical Load indicator is illuminated.11. Attach the MBM top and bottom front covers:Align the pins on the rear of each cover with the openings in the MBM cabinet.Push the cover firmly into place. See Figure 23 on page 39.
