These function assignments are active for the membrane keys andLEDs at all times in online operation, no matter which of the 5 onscreen pages isdisplayed.The Virtual Mentor Guided Operator Capability is available with online models 542VMand 542LM, to permit the operator station to perform “autopilot-like” functions.Virtual Mentor* adds extensive built-in decisionmaking tools* can simplify the operator’s choices* can guide operators through sequences* can vastly simplify diagnostics* can perform actions without operator or PLC initiation* further reduces PLC programmingThese features can greatly ease tasks and decisionmaking for the operator.
