11Mounting and Operating Instructions Fire-Resistant Cabinet Type DualGuard-S ESF30 October 2022 www.eaton.com6 Assembly/installation DualGuard-S ESF30 30-P and 15-P6.3 Instructions for unhinging the doorsThe doors are unhinged by pushing the pins from the leafs.For safety reasons, the door panels should always be un-hinged by at least 2 persons.6.4 Fixing the hanging brackets onto the rearof the enclosure6.5 Choosing the wall plugsFor the fastening are generally building supervision or Euro-pean technically approved or European technical rated dowelswith steel screws, which are suitable for the purpose of use,according to the static requirements.The special provisions of the respective general buildingsupervisory or European technical approval or Europeanassessment shall be observed.The choice of suitable wall plugs for masonry must be madedepending on the type of blocks (solid or perforated masonryblocks) and the different materials such as clay brick, lime-sandstone or normal, lightweight or cellular.The wall plugs supplied by us are suitable for DIN masonryand blocks.In case of unknown masonry, plug pull-out tests must beperformed!6.6 EHL/ESL wall fixing• The wall for mounting the enclosure on must be flat withno unevenness!• Align the fire enclosure horizontally on the wall.• Mark on the predrilling marks through the hanging bracketsat the top.• Make the holes for the enclosure fixing.• Knock in the frame plugs.• Attach the housing.• If necessary, the doors must be re-hung.• Seal the connection side wall to the side of the wall withsilicone.• Ventilation openings above and below must kept free!6.7 Switching the door swingDualGuard-S ESF30 30-P and 15-PATTENTION:THIS WORK MUST BE PERFORMEDBY AT LEAST 2 PERSONS!• The doors are unhinged by removing the pins from theleafs as described above.• Unscrew leafs from enclosure and bolt to the oppositeside into the pre-drilled holes.• Unscrew leafs from door and bolt to the opposite side intothe pre-drilled holes.• Align door and insert pins.
