A qualifiedperson is anyone who, based on his/her training, expertiseand experience as well as his/her knowledge of the relevantprovisions, is able to assess the work that he/she has beengiven and to identify any potential hazards.2.6 Work safetyFollowing the safety information and instructions provided inthis operating manual is essential to avoid bodily injuries andproperty damage while working on and with the equipment.2.2 Contents of the mounting and installationinstructionsAny person authorised to carry out work on or with theequipment must have read and understood the operatinginstructions before commencing work on the equipment.This also applies if the person concerned has worked withthe same or similar equipment in the past or was trained bythe manufacturer.2.3 Changes and alterations to the equip-mentIn order to avoid hazards and to ensure the best possibleperformance, no modifications, retrofits and add-ons arepermitted on the equipment unless these were expresslyapproved by the manufacturer.2.4 Responsibility of the operating entityThese operating instructions must be kept in the directvicinity of the equipment and must always be accessible topeople working on or with the equipment. The equipmentmust only be operated if it is in an exemplary and operationallysafe condition. The equipment must be checked every timebefore it is put into operation. The operating instructions asset out in the manual must be complied with in full!3 Technical Data
