10 Mounting and Operating Instructions Fire-Resistant Cabinet Type DualGuard-S ESF30 January 2021 www.ceag.de5 Transport5 Transport5.1 Brief notes about important transportconsiderations• Note the tipping hazard during transport!• Only remove the protective foil, the protective corner pads,or other packaging material directly at the setup location!• Note the included assembly materials on the protectivefoil or the enclosure!• Never transport the equipment with doors open!• At least 2 persons must always be available when trans-porting equipment!• When using a forklift for transport, use appropriately longforks to match the overall dimensions.• Watch for parts that protrude or stick out.• Never step under suspended loads when using a cranefor transport.• Damage must be reported to us immediately.• The products must not be stored outdoors and must beprotected against moisture.5.2 General transport requirementsATTENTION!Transport must be arranged in compliance with safetyregulations!• The enclosures DualGuard-S ESF30 US 30P and Dual-Guard-S ESF30 US 15P are shipped upright on the pallet.• If the packaging is damaged, the damage must be reportedto the freight forwarder in writing on the shipping ticket – a"clean receipt" from the delivering freight forwarder excludesacknowledgement of transportation damage. The sameapplies for missing packages pursuant to the shipping ticket.• Our plates weigh approximately 65 kg per m² of surfacearea. Attention: injury risk!• Open the pallet at the installation location only to preventdamage while in transit to the installation location.• When opening the pallets, the enclosure can be damagedwhen pointy or sharp objects, such as knives are used.Please use caution!• Dispose of or reuse packaging materials in an environmen-tally compliant manner.• If the fire protection enclosure is not immediately used orinstalled, it needs to be stored in an appropriate location.Ensure that spray water cannot form or penetrate – donot store outdoors.• Fire protection enclosures have an integrated base withfork pockets. The front cover must be removed for use.• Transport must be arranged in compliance with safetyregulations!• Move the enclosure upright on the transport pallet.• Only remove the tie-downs at the setup location.• If the enclosure needs to be laid down, only place it on thefull back or side surfaces in a jerk-free manner.• Do not lay the enclosure down on its door(s)!• The enclosure must be locked when doing this.• Note the considerable weight of the fire protection en-closure.ATTENTION!Any damage to the equipment must be immediately reportedto us in writing!The recipient is responsible for the receiving inspectionThe shipped product and its packaging must be promptlyinspected for damage, completeness, and other anomalies.Any identified damage must be immediately documented(sketch, photo, description, etc.) and submitted to CEAGNotlichtsysteme GmbH.UnpackingThe packaging must be disposed of in an environmentallyfriendly manner.Intermediate storageIf the enclosures are not used or installed immediately,they need to be carefully stored in a protected location. Theenclosures must not be stored outdoors.6 Assembly/installationDualGuard-S ESF30 28-P and 13-P6.1 Assembly/installationCheck the fixing accessories supplied for complete-ness:- 2 Hanging brackets- 1 two-way (double bit) key- 10 countersunk screws- 2 Senkkopfschrauben 6,0x1206.2 Opening and closing the door(s)Opening:• Insert the key into the lock.• Turn the key clockwise by a quarter-turn and pull outtwist lever.• Turn twist lever upwards through 180° anticlockwise.• Open the door.Closing:• Close the door and ensure that the twist lever is open.• Press the door gently and turn twist lever downwardsthrough 180° clockwise.• Allow the twist lever to audibly latch back into the twistlever holder.• Remove the key.
