30All totalizers have programming blocks L1 through L4. The default value for eachblock is 000, which decodes out to be no unlatch (U function), no lock (L function),and no reset (R function). In block L4, the reset key cannot be programmed to do alock function, so the L value remains at 0, and the edit key skips this category. Fortotalizers without relays, there are no unlatch functions; therefore the U value re-mains at 0 and the edit key skips the U category.Batchers have blocks L1 through L4 plus blocks L5 (start key) and L6 (stop key). Inaddition to all the input choices available to the totalizer with relays, batchers havemore choices for L (Lock) functions and R (Reset) functions, and also have S (Start/Stop) functions. The default value for blocks L1 through L6 is 0000, which decodesout to be no Start/Stop (S function), no unlatch (U function), no lock (L function), andno reset (R function). Control inputs can be programmed to do a lock function or anynon-opposing combination of start/stop, unlatch, and reset functions. An example ofopposing functions would be Start (which turns ON relay 1), and Unlatch 1 (whichturns OFF relay 1). Attempting to program opposing functions will cause the displayto read “Lb Err” when the ViewEnter key is pressed. The front panel reset key cannot beprogrammed for a start/stop function or for a lock function, so the S and L values inblock L4 remain at 0 and the edit key skips these categories. The front panel startkey cannot be programmed for a lock function, or for the start/stop function of stop. The front panel stop key cannot be programmed for a lock function or a reset functionor start. The input function selection table is shown below.
