Prepare your equipment for shutdown.1 beep every 5 seconds.The UPS is running on batterypower because the inputvoltage is too high or too low.The UPS continues to operate on battery until thecondition is corrected or the battery is completelydischarged.If the condition persists, the input voltage in yourarea may differ from the UPS nominal. Change theUPS input voltage to match your local voltage; see“Configuration” on page 37.The utility line voltage andfrequency are out ofspecification.Have a qualified electrician check the wiring.Continuous audible alarm.The battery is running low. Three minutes or less of battery power remains(depending on load configuration and batterycharge).Save your work and turn off your equipment. Thealarm cannot be silenced.1 beep every 5 seconds. The battery is not connectedcorrectly.Check the battery connections. Call your servicerepresentative if the problem persists.The battery needs to bereplaced.Contact your service representative to order a newbattery. See “Replacing Batteries” on page 50.1 beep every 5 seconds. The battery is low when theUPS starts up or returns froma utility failure.The UPS is recharging the battery. Bypass is out of tolerance.Input voltage is not within±12% of nominal.The UPS is receiving utility power that may beunstable or in brownout conditions. The UPScontinues to supply power to your equipment. Ifconditions worsen, the UPS may switch to batterypower.The UPS is in Bypass mode. The equipment is transferred to utility power. Batterymode is not available; however, the utility powercontinues to be passively filtered by the UPS. Checkfor one of the following alarms: Overtemperature,Overload, UPS Failure, or Battery Service.
