Eaton - Lighting Systems iLight Product Series - RI-2 73-897-00 IM8791 Iss 5 3IntroductionRI-2 provides a versatile interface betweenan iLight system and other control systems.This compact unit can be mounted virtuallyanywhere. It has eight inputs, which may beprogrammed to be either digital or analogue.The unit also has eight volt-free mains ratedlow power relays. These allow a wide range ofexternal equipment to be controlled. All inputsand outputs are fully programmable as to theirfunction.This interface allows the iLight iCANnetTMnetwork to control other systems and othersystems to communicate with the iCANnetTMnetwork. RI-2 may be programmed to controlcurtains & blinds, screens, AV and otherpresentation equipment as well as controllingcontactors for heavier power applications. Withthe control inputs set to analogue, any 0-10Vsource can be programmed to control systemfunctions. The unit could also be programmedsuch that system sequences could be activatedby a motion detector or other devices onthe iCANnetTM network.
