Always loosen fuel capsslowly allowing pressure to equalize.• NEVER refuel a unit when the engine is HOT!• NEVER refuel a unit with the engine running.• DO NOT fill fuel tanks indoors. ALWAYS fill fuel tanks outdoorsover bare ground.• Securely tighten fuel cap after refueling.• Inspect for fuel leakage. If fuel leakage is found, do not start oroperate unit until leakage is repaired.IMPORTANTSpilled fuel is a leading cause of hydrocarbon emissions. Somestates may require the use of automatic fuel shut-off containers toreduce fuel spillage. Contact your ECHO dealer for orderinginformation.After Refueling;• Wipe any spilled fuel from the unit.• Move at lease 3 m (10 ft.) from refueling location before starting theengine.After use;• DO NOT store a unit with fuel in its tank. Leaks can occur. Returnunused fuel to an approved fuel storage container.Storage - Fuel storage laws vary by locality. Contact your localgovernment for the laws affecting your area. As a precaution, store fuelin an approved, air tight container. Store in a well ventilated, unoccu-pied building, away from sparks and flames. Do not store fuel longerthan 30 days.IMPORTANTStored fuel ages. Do not mix more fuel than you expect to use inthirty (30) days, ninety (90) days when a fuel stabilizer is added.IMPORTANTStored two-stroke fuel may separate.
